Ok i cant understand this drop i am getting. I have done the big 3 and have a 200 amp alt, 0/1 weld wire through car and a second battery in the rear. My front battery is kinda small but its the biggest i can fit in there thanks to the design crew at chevy lol Anyway other than another battery whats something i can do. Do you think my connections would cuz this I mean when i really get into it i go from about 14.4 to 9 almost cutting the car off ?? Please give me some ideas to check Almost forgot the amps are t2000bd and a POS sony 600 watt I know i am not pulling that much power for this kinda drop

thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Check your wiring! Check all connections made any splices and all grounds. Make sure you have nice clean grounds that are secured tightly. Where are you getting the drop? are you taking the reading from the battery under the hood or from your second battery? Is your alt legit and running properly?

Its a brand new alt and i am taking the reading from battery up front should i check at the back I thought if its that low up front I dont wanna know back there lol but i will go and check all my connections

Your system runs off of the battery in the rear or the battery up front? how do you have the second battery connected into the electrical system?

i have a run from the front positive to the rear positive and then it is grounded in the rear I know i should prolly get a isolator but funds are into a motor right now so it will have to wait till after thats done

You probably want the front neg connected to the rear neg as well as a short ground from the rear neg to the frame or chassis of your car. Just to make sure you have a very clean ground between the two sources.
