I putchased a Kinetik kr3112 agm battery from a guy on the classifieds section and I just took it to get it load tested cause it only rest at 12.6 or thereabouts. Autozone tested it at 800cca's and just said it was 100% charged but a bad battery. Advance gave me a printout, he tested it as. 2000 amps batt since that is how it is advertised.

Results ;

Voltage: 12.68

Measured: 483 CCA

Rated: 2000 CCA

Temperature: 65° F

Is there any way to save it or is this normal cca's for this batt?

You could try charging it but a battery will read 12 plus volts. How big is the battery? Does it say it has 2000cca? Im pretty sure it does not.
I can't find any real specs on it besides 125 ah's. It's 63 pounds. Basically like the Kinetic hc2400 only its red.

But im thinkin they use a load tester made specifically for standard batteries.

I have seen a few others post about their agm batt testing as "bad" on a autozone load tester

Sounds like a bad cell inside. Some batteries are just bad from the factory. I have had it happen to me before. Dude at battery warehouse swore it was my alt till he tested that lol. He replaced it with a new ones and no problems.

any time I get an agm batt that seems to be acting up I hook it up to my smart charger on a 2a trickle. It will tell me by the morning if I have a bad batt or not. It will actually display BAD.
