Hi, I have a backup camera that doesn't have an RCA connection, it has a trigger wire and a micro USB connector I plugged it into my phone but it doesn't recognize it, I tried several ways to get it working, even took it back and got another one, has anyone seen these cameras and if so, how do you hook it up and view it, thanks in advance for your help

Might be one made for a specific monitor or even a rear-view mirror monitor, just using the USB connector as it’s a readily-available part and “foolproof”.
Where did you get the camera from?

It only works when the car is in reverse. Also, some units have trigger options in the settings menu.
