back battery

i wanted to know if this is the way u guys would go ahead and wire up this back batt. i ran my four ga power wire to a fuse (150) then to my batt + then the + to my sae 1200d. then i did a ground for my amp and the batt in the trunk. is this fine cuz i know some people run another ground all the way back from the front batt and i allso heard of some people grounding there amp at the back batt.

make sure you have a fuse at both ends of the + line between the two batteries.

you need to ground the back bat to the chassis or the front bat also

i was kinda wondering about this myself... do you need to ground rear battery if you run pos and neg wire to it from frint?

i have my back batery run to the frame and pos run up front and it aint on fire so i guess its working lol

cool, i have my back batt ground in my trunk. I dont have my amp ground to the batt , my amp has it's own ground

i wanted to see if i had it wired up as some would do. i seen the thread but so many said yea run a neg wire back then there was a few that said u dont . it was so back and forth with what every one thought. I had a real issue a week ago and i wanted to see if i had it wrong then i could go over the issue. For me if there is no issue in how i had it wired then i could look eles where for the issue. like my alt not being able to power both batts or the batts not being the same etc etc. Yes the search button is something most people forget about or just say f uck it il will make a thread. Its my right to ask and if no one wants to help thats cool.
