has anybody used this stuff? it's a little cheaper at $130 for 50 sq feet. The ultimate b-quiet looks decent.

The ultimate is roughly comparable to RAAMmat. The Extreme is asphalt and should be avoided.

In that case you'd prefer Dynamat Xtreme since nothing is more extreme than dropping the "E".
