I need 2 sets of very nice SQ 6.5 component speakers to put in my car. They will be ran off a sundown SAX 100.4. So I'm guessing that I'll want speakers/tweeters that are around 100rms a piece..I need crossovers with the sets since I plan on only running them off one amp. My budget is a little low...let's say around $400.

I'm building a sq system...I've never done speakers and amps...only subs and amps...thus why I have a guy helping me out over here.
There are varying definitions of sq. But if you're serious, you'll find that the install time and effort you're about to face is monumental, lol. These are a couple examples of sq cars.

If you are simply growing out of the ”put all the money in the trunk” phase, then you don't need to go and do all of that^. Buy about twelve to twenty sq ft of audiotechnix deadener, learn how to seal off your doors panels with ccf tape, learn how to run active, and get a nice set of comps from ge_off_me. You'll be very happy with the results. I promise.

Yeah, I fell in love with those Re XXXs. They look so ****. The guy that's helping me is a local and has been doing car audio for 5+ years.

From what I understand, the tweeters are where the set is lacking. The mids though are something indeed.
your comment just made me uneasy..now I may lean towards the Tang Band Neo 6.5s... lol
lol there is always going to be something said about every set, one is going to be better than another in certain areas lol, heard the tang band's get muddy in upper freq and are better suited for 3 way active

RK 6 Component Speaker 6.5 in. 2-way, 250-500w Max, CEA Certified - 12Vtoys

contact @Tallc ; on here about these, great deal they have one left

They better be amazing considering the mods some people will have to do to fit speakers that require almost 6" of mounting depth. I wouldn't be able to fit those without 3"+ of mdf rings... and then I wouldn't be able to fit the panel back on without modifying it, lol.
