ok since its quad coils how do u run the wires? like on a dvc u run amp pos-pos then the neg on the first terminal to the pos on other sub terminal then the neg to neg... so hows that quad setup work w/ a bridged 2 channel amp?

depends what ohm load you want.... If I remember correctly, those are quad 2 ohms, so you could get 2 ohms or .5 ohms to the amp mono....

yea they are 2 ohm, but my question is you can run quad coils off of a 2 ohm 2 channel memphis 16-mc2000d. or do you have to run a amp per pair of coils..?

you can run all coils off 1 amp. wire one pair in a series for 4 ohm, the other pair in a series for 4 ohm, and parallel what youve got left.

no

2+2=4 (one pair series)

2+2=4(one pair series)

4+4=2(the 2 pair parallel)

it would be a 2ohm final load.

remember series ohms are additive

parallel ohms are subtractive

guys. i gotta say.... this is the best forum site ive ever been on. i been on rx7club, some paintball ones and some other small ones and this is the most helpful, non-insulting forum site yet. no critisizm or insults, just information, and no yelling at poeple to do better searching. plus no annoying noob callers. =D thanx for all ur help. so how good do u think the setup im going w/ will hit in a rx7? my old sub hit for about 148 off the dash. both setups r listed in my sig.
