Avionixx 2400 watt amp

anyone have a link that sells these?

my brother is sponsored and he told me he can get me one for 300

for 260$ each and he is gona build me a custom fiberglass box for 100$

should i do this or just get one kicker 15 with the avionixx amp he can get me

I wasn't even aware Avionixx was still actually selling amplifiers.....they were the hot thing when eD was distributing them. But after eD had Value Electronics build them their own amplifiers and eD stopped distributing the Avionixx name (Avionixx was the "house brand" for Value Electronics, if I recall correctly)...they sort of disappeared...though their website is still active with "coming soon" under the where to buy section.

Anyways, I don't recall Avionixx ever producing a true 2400w RMS amplifier. They switched model numbers, and started labeling their amplifiers by the max power rather than RMS. They have an amplifier with "2400" in the model number, but it only actually outputs 1200w RMS.

If you want an Avionixx-esque amplifier, look into the amplifiers from Elemental Designs. Because other than the few on ebay, I would have no idea where to get Avionixx products from, if they're even still available.

And after re-reading...did you say your brother can get you an Avionixx amplifier, and you were wondering what the "regular price" was? Or that he recommended it to you?

Also, who is your brother "sponsored" by?

im not sure what he is sponsored by i just know he gets audioshit for cheap

he told me if i cant afford the 2400 he can get me the 1200 version for 160?

but if i can get the "1200$ amp for 300" so my brother says from him i think thats my best bet
