amp goes into protect...

i have a cadence dca2500. i have never seen anyone with the same amp but anyways its supposed to put out 2500watts at 1 ohm. i have 4 12" cadence triplex subs, all single voice coil 4 ohm. i have them wired to one ohm but sometimes, especially when i play late nite tip when the really low note hits my amp goes into protect. i shut everything off and the amp comes back on but sometimes when i really push it, it goes into protect...any ideas as to why..?

its probably overheating or you dont have a sufficient charging system
