avic N1...need advice

I can pick one of these up for $175 in mint cosmetic condition, however it needs a ribbon cable ($41) and a new antenna ($30-40 ebayed). I figured I could do the ribbon replacement by myself.

is this worth it? I know the N1 is older but I think they are somewhat upgradeable.

Pioneer will replace the ribon for free all you do is pay the shipping.. and you get a 1yr warranty.. avic N1 is great...
