AVIC D3 installed in a Silverado SS ?'s

Going to be putting a D3 in my silverado ss and had a few concerns. The d3 doesn't have the cage or anything so I assume I need to grab up a mounting kit. Which kit is best for this, I have brackets from my last HU install that was stolen but still have the side brackets you screw into the HU that would size up for a double din so I'm not sure if thats what I should go with or just buy a new kit.

I also noticed with the D3 there isn't a separate set of RCA's for sub s, I have to use the GMOS-04 adapter with my truck due to the BOSE system and I think I need to connect the RCA's from the adapter to both the front and rears of the HU to get sound out of all my speakers leaving me with no Sub output option. My N4 had the sob RCA's so this has me a little confused. I onl;y have the manuals off the net so I been paging through them but wanted to ask these questions to you guys before I head out the door. Anyone know if thats the case or do I only need to hook up one set of the RCA's from the adapter and use the REAR RCA's for my amp.sub set-up?

well disregard half the shit about the sub outputs on the RCA harness, I'm just completely missing them, anyone know if I can re-install 2 rca's into the avic's harness instead of having to purchase a new harness. The rest of the wires are good to go.

the rca harness is totally seperate and there are 3 sets one dedicated to sub

if u get the right dash kit it should have brackets to screw right into the D3 eliminating the need for the metal cage all together

I know the harness is separate and has 3 sets of RCA's but I am missing the sub out RCA's, like they have been pulled out of the harness so I was curious if they can be replaced somehow so I don't have to buy a whole new harness.

Is there a dash kit for double dins? I have the old ISO mounts from my metra kit when i put my single din in so would those be the ones used or is there an actually double din kit that needs to be installed.

I only problem I see you running into is that truck has a din and a half, it is not a trure double din. So in order for that D3 to fit you will have to mod the dash and move your climate controls down.
