Which one would be better suited for SPL?

Should I just base it off of price?...

Both subs are a great SQ sub that gets very loud... Will you put this in a sealed or ported enclosure... if sealed I would lean toward the Avalanche

Have you heard them or are you just going by what everyone else is saying?

It will be in a ported box, probably around 6 or 7 cubes...with about 600 on each..

My buddy is the one that is gonna order them, he doesnt know if he is gonna get 1 or 2..since they are on sale though you might as well buy 2..

Each sound great, but if they are so close he might as well go with the price..

I have the AA 12 and it sounds great but is ideal in a sealed enclosure for SQ that gets loud fast. I have not had experience with the other, but have heard nothing but good things about it.
