they would work out well with my amp... (1200rms @1ohm) and they are relatively cheap...

4 of these vs 1 15 sx???

what are your guys' opinions?

i'm going for Loud with decent sq without hurting my woofer... 1 15" doesn't cut it for me i guess..

ANY other suggestions for 12"s would be appreciated... 3 500rms 12"s would work, looking for 3-4 12"s for around 250 shipped is all...

EDIT: Also looking to keep the same amp, my alt handles this one well, don't really want to get bigger...

should get louder... hehe i mean its 4 12s vs 1 15. and infinity makes quality stuff, just not too sturdy. dont overpower them, they break easy.

Just a word of advice being a formal owner of the references at one point. Although they do get loud, and sound good, they lack the low end a bit. I think you should consider getting the kappa 12.3s for 30 or so bucs more. They hit the lows so much better.

i have heard 4-12" infinity references. they were in a dodge durango powered by infinity amps(not sure which models). i wasn;t impressed. at the time i had 2-10" L7's in a ported box and the infinity's got louder, but not by much.
