autotek/pioneer diamond plates???

ok guys i was just curious about my girlfriends setup she has an old autotek amp with street machine written on the side. and 2 pioneer diamond plate comp. 12's that are pretty old but it slams, does anyone know anything about this stuff??? how good is it??

I used to have a pair of Pioneer diamond plate 12's in a sealed box with 1.5 cubes per sub and 400 watts RMS, they wern't the loudest subs in the world but they sounded really good for the money.

really?? they were cheap subs??? from what i undestand these were her brother in laws old competition 12's, and they definitely slam, they're just ugly. lol i just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this stuff.

what about the amp too??

that looks like it, but it says 500 max, and these things slam harder than my friends 15" L5 so i just dont get it?? lucky buy???

That 500 max means nothing its all about the RMS which for the 12's is 150 to 200 watts RMS.

As for them slamming hard, when set up properly they sound great hands down but I think your friends 15" L5 would outperform the 303's if properly set up.

I kinda miss my old 303's they were great subs.
