autotek mm100.4 wiring!!! help

pc you see the front two inputs are ch. 4 and 2 which are combined to one...and the two inputs behind it are ch. 3 and 1 which join to one...which one should connect to red rca and which on to black?????

the reason i ask is bc when i shut car off and turn car back on the front left speaker plays...when i turn the volume up a little bit the 6.5 cuts out...wtf...and when it "cuts out" it sounds like is rubbing metal or somthing idk

noah is at work right now soooo...

chan 4 and 2 are ran to red rca

eh?? i havent changed anything noah set it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif when i had to take my box out the red/black rcas came out..nothing from the amp...

is 1 and 2, 3 and 4 right?? for sure?

if so then does 1 and 2 go to red rca and 3 and 4 to black or visaversa

i don't know...do you have a manual? i used to own one of these but i couldn't find a manual online to verify but i'm pretty sure it is 1-2, 3-4

two sets of comps i'm assuming? one set should be on channel 1 and 2 the other set on 3 and 4.

ah i see...seperate crossovers for the mids and tweets. Are you using 2 channels to power the tweets and 2 channels to power the mid?

well i see 4 sets of speaker wire running to the amp and i should only see 2 sets. unless he's using 2 channels for tweets and 2 channels for mids. Should look like this tho...not saying he did something wrong...it just looks funny to me.

it sounds like your rcas are correct.

can you describe the problem more? have these speakers worked for you inthe past?
