i know the gain knob has the clipping meter built in to it. on some notes it flickers, and some times it comes on for a few seconds then turns off. i lowerd the gain at my amp that helped but would it be bad if it flickers here and there and stays on for like 2-4 seconds??

I had the same issue. I messaged DJ and he said that it's perfectly fine.

i was gona call you about that bro, it flickers here and there stays on for a few seconds and pretty much my sub is not warm at all. the amp felt a tad warm but i was testing some songs out in the parkin lot.

yea it only blinks when there is higher bass notes i find. the lower notes it does nothing. hmmm , yea it sounds good the sub is not warm the amp got a tad warm but i was testing some songs out for a few mins today. i have more testing to do. i might move my box around, for one 12 it moves some air. i got out of my car and when i went to get back in my coat was moving all over the place. im happy i guess

yea it flickers with higher bass notes, and stays on if the bass note is long.

I called DJ about this. He told me flickering is fine because subs do hit peaks on some notes, and kick harder during some songs. You do not want it to go solid though.

great i heard a few people tell me they called Dj about the gain knob. it flickers with some notes, it will light up red for a sec or 2 then turn off. it only turns on when in my mind it should. on long bass notes it will turn on. i think i should b good. i just got in from more testing. i played a few diff songs/ test tones and it was good. i felt the amp and sub all is good there. No smell from the coils so i should b good for now. thanks guys
