UPGRADING the mosfets to make amp more powerful??

so i was thinking about this the other day and need some detailed info. is it possible to upgrade the fets in my amp to something higher rated and make more power? would i need to update any other parts of the board?

also is it dangerous to the protection circuit? i found certain fets online for like 4 a piece but if anyone like DBR or anyone else has info that would be amazing.

gettin' into a game where you have many bases to check at once.. always gotta think "if I change this, what else am I needing to upgrade"..

Well upgrading the fets means you're going to have to upgrade other parts of the amp. Sounds like a good way to cook your power supply to me.

It would be expensive IMO...
