There were multiple revs. Basically came down to where people didn't realize they were sending more than 5v through rcas. When they fixed that, the problems went away. As long as your HU isn't an eclipse you're basically good. I trust DIYMA too and found an equal number of good and bad reviews on that MA.
If you're more interested in favorably reviewed, I'd stick with either PPI Phantom or Soundstream Tarantula Nano. Pretty much identical architecture, just different casing.
Same basic architecture between the Polk, nvx, ss, and ppi. Specs are all slightly different. Reviews of the ppi and ss say they're slightly underrated.
maybe, its all added into the equation. its going to be better for me to get power at 4 ohm or 1 ohm than 2 ohm since wiring configs are usually better for those two options compared to 2 ohm.
I still have the PPI Phantom P900.5 on the table. cannot seem to find them for sale anywhere though.
okay I think the polk is last in the race now. I'm liking the precision power p900.5 and the boston acoustics GTA-1105. Seems to be down to the sub channel at 2 ohm or 1 ohm and footprint.
