Could It be because I didn't solder the terminals?
Although soldering is better, no. As long as you can't pull that ring terminal off the wire, you are ok. Make sure all those ring terminals are bolted tight to what ever they are on. Also make sure the power/ground going to the amps terminals are in there good, and snugged down tight.

What would be the most likely the one to check? The alternator positive one?

When the car is moving sounds like a loose remote , ground or hot at the amp if not make sure the ground bolted to the body is secured and not moving.

Today I just was at idle slowing down for a stop light and it protected. Everything is tight, be did it with sockets. The ground for sure is goo on the amp. I'll check all the terminals on the amp but should be good. I'm pissed the gain is only up 25% and it protects at about 20-21 volume in my HU. I don't have anything like treble or BB on at all. This never happened to me before why is it now all of the sudden.. I guess because more power..?

Could it be the +15 on my subwoofer level that is clipping it or something? I'm so confused on what is actually wrong.

Naw. If it was doing fine at idle, and it's screwing up when you're driving, there's a loose connection somewhere. Something that's getting jostled around as the car is moving. Does @pro\-rabbit have any ideas?

This morning going to work the thing cut out on me at a measely 15 HU volume.

When coming home from work It cut out, so when I got home I stayed idled and played my music at a stop, at 21 HU volume which is where my HU sounds loud and still no distortion. It cut out and protected. Sigh. My system is so bi polar I don't understand what this could be.. A wiring problem?

sounds like a wiring issue.

Check your grounds and power wire connections. If it is going into protect you may also want to check on your subs, it is possible that they have become damaged and causing your amp to go into protect under various conditions.

I have a audioque hdc3 12" so how would I be able to tell if it's damaged? It bumps and seems good under the amp goes into protect.

I know I ran my amp at .5 ohms at first.. Would that of hurt the sub? It went into protect pretty fast so it's not like the sub was exposed to that for a long period of time.

Grounds are good, period. I KNOW they are. I'll check the power I guess but I'm pretty sure it's fine.. The gauge of wire I'm using is bigger than the terminals holes, so I had to trim it down to get in into the terminals.
