I have an audiopipe 15" with the APSM1300, which is 600 watts rms at 2 ohms, and the sub is 500 watts at 2 ohms. SO now that we know i'm not underpowering it, will I need to have a ported box to make this loud? I dont need it to break my mirror off or anything, but i want it to be fairly loud. 500 Watts rms seems like a lot, since my entire 7.1 living room surround is only 80 watts rms, and it has quite nice bass.I want it to sound nice, but if I need to get ported to get loud I will. What do you guys think. Ported or Sealed? If i were to get sealed, I'd build it myself, But for ported it would be a $45 box from ebay, because i'm on a limited budget. Thanks guys.
