Audiobahn, whats your thoughts?

First off I am not impressed at all with DD. I went up aginst some kid with two 12" subs from DD and some bogus amps that was rated at something like 2000 watts each. He was driving a newer eclipse like 95 or something and he hit a sad 143.7db. I was expecting more. It was a nice set up but just for show. I had 2 12" Infinitys (1230w's at 4ohms each) 'IN A SEALED BOX NONE THE LESS' with my Audiobahn 2300hcq in my 89 mazda mx6 (not a hatchback) and drilled a nice 147.8db. Also if you listen to rock and heavy metal i would defanitly get three audiobahn 10s (you can get them in one of those fancy boxes if youd like) and a JL amp. If you want a good system stick with these four JL(everything), Audiobahn(everything), Memphis (amps), and Infinity (mids and highs). Anything else is a waste of time and money.

as someone who's used abahn a lot.. and had friends that have.. and not to mention read countless reviews of the subs on various sites.. abahn amps are fine.. just your personal preference imo. The subs are power hungry (note: power hungry is NOT a good thing) and although not TERRIBLE subs, there are things way better, especially if you're willing to spend the money... i'm still debating between DD, RE, and Massive for my next system.. SPL all the way for this one, though.

what meter were you using for 147.8? And dude, if you think EVERYTHING else is a waste of money, you need to get out more... notice the only company you mentioned that makes a head unit of those (that i know of) is audiobahn.. and i'm not even sure if you can even order those anymore... besides, you said the only thing infinity makes that's good are the mids and highs (which i do like..).. yet you just said you were using infinity subs.. so were you, in fact, wasting YOUR money?
