Audiobahn, whats your thoughts?

Okay i am a van freek and i was at a van in 3 weeks ago and a guy also with an astro had a 3 12" audiobahn setup and it had alot of bass dont know how well it actually sounded but with some AC/DC it had alot of bass.....are they worth it i was set on DD audio. But i like the prefabbed boxes that look nice and great for show.

Audiobahn *****. In my opinion. They have the same bullsh*t crap that MA Audio has....."chrome" junk.

Comparing audiobahn to DD is like comparing the fat hillbilly down the street to Pamela Anderson.

I would never spend my money on a prefab box......but thats just me.

audiobahn is crap. the alum subs are the only ones i would ever come close to touching.

Okay so are they crap b/c they wont do good in comp or they fall apart? I listen to fast paced rock so if that matters. i am thinking 10's......but like the boxes by audiobahn so maybe ill glass a box liked planned. hmmm any thoughts....sorry not good at building bandbass.

the only problem i had from audiobahn is the actual basket cracking, came like that fromt eh company and they apologized and said if i had probs, to send ti back and they would REPLACE, not repair, it. i sent it back anyways even though it didnt get any worse. got a new sub.

these things handle some power, the 1800watt amp i have .... cranks some power, they are also cheap and very efficient for little high school bassheads that want 2 12s, prefab box, and an amp

i always buy abahn if someone in town wants a system. everyone is happy. they are SPL geared though

well if you had the money to buy 3-4 10" or 3 12" would you buy the dd audio at there price or buy the audiobahns at 250+75 shipping? Unfortunitly i dont know dd's quality thats why im asking so much.

DD is one of the best in quality out there. They are extremely well built subs. There is just no comparison. DD will destroy most subs out there (in SPL) IMO. To sum it up DD=Good Quality

i wouldnt buy audiobanhs for anything besides rap. although theyre not as bad as everyones making them out to be. if you listen to rock id go with somethng more sq, less spl geared. especially for rock

Phoenix gold titaniums in a sealed box will be a good SQL setup for rock. You can get the 10's dirt cheap on EBAY

i have 4 of the 12s ported .... they work with just about everything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ....... they have a really hard PUNCH .... the bass actually hits you in the chest. i like them a lot

i thought they stopped making the ti series? ikesound stopped carrying them, i bought 2 from them and bought the other 2 from a guy on the forums.

oh, they also come/came in SVC or DVC 4ohm

svc/dvc whats that mean? i know ohms i have an AURA amp that can run 1 ohm stable with out over heating easily.

SVC is Single Voice Coil

DVC is Dual Voice Coil

a SVC 4 ohm sub has 1 4 ohm load

a DVC 4 ohm sub has 2 4 ohm loads

i knew this kid that got some high excursions, and everybody thought his system was the **** cause they could hear him from a long ways away, but up close it sounded like crap....all abahn does is get loud, and they sound like crap doin it.
