i have 2 12" audibahn aw1206t with audiobahn a18001dt amp and putting that into a vented box. 2.44 cuft airspace per chamber and a clarion 745vd head unit 5v preout..

my question is to what frequency do i tune the amp the box can be TUNED TO 35 Hz

and the sub to 38hz i think ...what settings can i use and how do i wire the subs for max performance?? thanks

how do you tune a box to 35hz and a sub to 38hz?

Your amp would be set Low pass 80hz i would say.

as for how to wire your subs, will need specs on the subs and amps. i don't feel like looking it up.

Are they DVC? SVC? 2ohm? 4ohm? what is your amp rated at? power in RMS? at 1ohm? or 4ohm? or 2ohm?

I had a single 1206t in a 3 cubed box @ 37 Hz (what audiobahn recommended for maximum SPL).

Those woofers come standard DVC 4 ohm. Wire htem both in parallel then together for a 1 ohm load. That will yield the most power that the amp will put out.

Start with your LPF set to 20Hz (or whatever the lowest possible setting is) then slowly adjust it up until you think it sounds the best. Set your gains with a DMM and the gain setting tutorial either in the amplifier section of the forums or jl audio's gain setting tutorial on their site. You shouldnt be disappointed in the output that those things will put out. They don't sound all that great but they do get pretty loud
