you guys constantly bad mouth audiobahn, its cheap, its too flashy, sounds terrible, blah blah blah. I spent several hours with a friend last night comparing his two MTx 15's running off a 1000db phoenix gold amp and also his L7 running, both setups in sealed enclosures, off the same amp at a different time. we also listend to my audiobahn abp12t dual 12;s bandpass being run off a ahdiobahn A800T mono amp at 2 homs. both he and i, as well as the other dozen people agreed the ahdiobahn set up was cleaner, tighter, and just as hard hitting, it also had a wider range. i think many of you are either big scale competitors, posers, or name brand tag chasers. anyway..................

idea that i get is you are defending audiobahn but you are comparing what to what? 2 12's in a band pass againd what mtx 15's? what kind of box were the mtxs in? what size l7? what box was the l7 in? was the audiobahn in a prefab bandpass?

mtx subs each had 2 cubic ft sealed boenlosure, 1 box. 15 inch l7 in 1.5 cubic ft sealed box, audiobahn pre fabbed tuned bandpass.

1.5 cft sealed on an 15 l7 is a bad idea i dont care what their manual says lol but there is alot of factors that go into a sub sounding bad or good. an audiobahn prefab bandpass is FAR from tight bass

lol unlike alot of the internet jockeys on here i actually competed on a national level in iasca sound quality even back in the day when you had to do more than "just show up" to get a trophy. in all honesty i dont think audiobahn is that bad you are just comparing bad set ups against another not to great of a set up and your discriptions of the systems arent all that good. ill leave it at that

shut the **** up...audiobahn is one of the most recognisible name is car audio....considering you were talking about audiolifes setup Ascendant Audio how the hell could he be a "big brand namer" audiobahn messed up when they got all that attention they had to source all there work to women in korea and pakistan...same people that make nike shoes.....so the quality of build is totally subliminal....point is choosing other names over audiobahn isnt a issue of wanting the bigger name you cant get more mainstream with audiobahn...but hey dont listen to anyone when choosing what you like...if you think what you heard was better then good you go for it buddy...good luck with that...me personally ive never demoed neither so i couldnt compare my results...peace
