notice how every person who has posted on this thread protecting audiobahn has less than 100 posts. This tells me somebody doesn't know their shiot and they are noobs, kinda like me, but at least i know what i'm talking about before i just start posting b.s. That's the reason why i don't have hardly any posts.

As for everyone supporting audipbahn that is under a hundred psot does not mean anything. Everyone has their company of choice and are allowed to.

As far as audiobahn. They have a fairly good product line up. If i was going for looks they would definatey be in my car. But as for most people performance>looks. They are not neccessaraly bad they just have a bad performance to price ratio.

i would look into the Power Acoustik A300DB. One amp for each sub.

i already am getting an autotek 3000.1 amp.

they are decent products mostly (depending on line)... but dont always sound very good.

My gripes: not worth retail, or even 80% of it.

Poor manufacturer rating system.

Reliability (see last remark).

Re: this thread... good spl subs if you get 'em cheap. Otherwise, only good for looky installs (inverted in hatchbacks, etc...)

how much areyou about to spend on these? why the hell are you going for these? i know they are decent SPL subs from a company who makes mainly crap (cuz they were designed by digital designs- I THINK thats what i read)
why not get some real digital designs subs, or some adire subs, maybe RE?

or some SI magnums?

im actually checking out the adire subs and ive seen some impressive movie clips. what do you know about them?

I've ran two audiobahn systems..... 2 flame q's and their class d 1800 watt amp and two aw1251t's and two 500 watt tsunamis. The first system lacked in spl majorly even in a 38hz box properly built. The xmax is so unimpressive. The sq was good FOR AUDIOBAHN but overall a 3/10 and didn't have any low bass. They were in for about 6 months and didn't give me any problems untill the glue started to come off and the cones started to come unattatched from the spider.....also a tensil lead burnt in half.....and no i wsas not pushing the full 500 to them. They were getting UNDER 400 a piece. I ditched that system for 2 flame q 12's and a a18001dt. The amp wasn't clipping and everything was setup well in a properly sized ported box tuned to 35 hz. Sounded good between 40 and 50-55 hz the higher notes distorted somethin crazy and the lower notes were very sloppy. It was pretty loud though. The amp fried and one subs tensil leads burnt in half before i upgraded. then went to a shiva for hold over. I now have two resonant engineering sexxx's powered of a pioneer amp (tsunami gxa1000d is waiting on me) that puts out 760 watts MAX power (or at least says it does) This system has WAAAAAAAYYYY better sq then the other systems and louder then the flame q's.....yes 350 watts louder then 1800. the re's sound awsome between 26-60 hz and below 26 still plays just not as loud since my tuning is 28. above 60 the volume gets lower and lower but NEVER do these subs distort or have any bad sound coming out of them. now about the immortals.....I've played with both the new and old ones and take my word don't get the new ones.....the old ones were good.....that's the only thing audiobahn's ever had good. So learn from my mistakes and don't go with the bahns. Get re, adire, dd, treo, jl, sound splinter, elemental designs, somethin not audiobahn.....u will regret it.

i'm not trying to go agianst the audiobahn hatred here, but i have an eternal, and for 150$ it gets pretty loud and sounds good doing it. i've only had it in a sealed enclosure tho 2ft^3, so as for ported i can't say anything.

ok. somone start throwing me a bone on some subs. i can get audiobahns for a killer price. or the new rockfords, or the kicker squares. i have seen you guys throw out speakers i am totally unaware of. one brand that i have now been reading about that really impresses me is adire. again im going to be using either an autotek mx3000.1 or a planet audio vx-2200d.

this guy has had the same problems as me. all the speakers ive used from abahn have come unglued. and they sounded terrible to boot.

but most of all, GO DO SOME REASEARCH! ask questions, read threads READ PEOPLES SIGNATURES AND FIND OUT WHAT THEY USE ON THESE FORUMS.

more often than not, if you find somone with audiobahn in their signature, its eaither an amp, or a sub they are trying to get rid of.

welll i guess when i get some free time on my hands ill be able to research this stuff, but since i work about 50 to 60 a week while doing 12 hours of school (not including homework or drive) its kind of hard to do the things you want. I did get my autotek mx 3000.1 amp in, but at this time im stumped on subs. i want sealed, and either 3 10's or 2 12's in my extended cab colorado. which if me getting the time is the case before i can look, that means i probably wont have a chance till about christmas. o well, kinda makes me just want to go ahead and buy the audiobahns and be done with it being i dont have the time to read up on everything at this time.
