audiobahn amplifiers

They are just like the name says, HIgh current, They draw a ton of current to make a TON of power. I have only seen them in use once because they are so expensive. But i heard a four of them running an audiobahn 34" sub. A bass heads dream come true.

My friends gonna buy a 1000 watt at 2ohms one. Would it **** too much power for a daily driver.? Do they over heat easily because hes gonna be bumpin strong all day and night.

Yeah i went and looked at some today and asked a few questions about them. Yeah they do draw alot for daily driving. Their circuitry is made to deal with the heat so overheating probably will not be a problem. To run those you would probably need a second alternator. The car running 4 of those had 3 or 4 alts in it and like 4 batteries.

I know that u can have more than one alternator because i had two until my good amps got stolen.. then i uninstalled it and put it into my cousins car. So there is no question about that.

i am perttu shure that he is going to need some type of electrical upgrade. for that 1000watt they want they are current hog just like windows are memory hogs. he should go with an smaller one. I have pic of an install of the A275hcq in the bacl of an F-250 super duty

Be careful before you invest a lot of money in an audiobahn amp. My local dealer stopped being an official audiobahn dealer b/c 6 out of 10 of their amps are returned to the factory b/c of some problem. Not saying that this will happen to yours but check out all the warranty info before buying...you might need it.

You should always check on warranties. I know that all audiobahn amps come with a 1 year warranty, if installed by a certified person. With my dealer they only charge you $15 to send it back, unless your me, then they don't even charge u to send it.

or you could check out alphasonik, exactly the same but instead of chrome/blue, its chrome/orange....i live down the street from the audiobahn warehouse, i just need to devise a plan to go a grab some stuff because its all sitting out side, tons of crap....

just cuz its an High Current amp, doesn;t mean it draws a ton of current, yes tehy are HC's, but very efficient, I am speaking on the 1500HCT's and past models, these have drew less current than some 1000D's I know at the same ohm load!! I have a few of these amps brand new if you want, email me at dreid622@adelphia.net , they are 2003 models, 1500HCT's
