My brother bought a 1988 Samari that he plans on using for off roading. He sent me the following

"1988 Suzuki samurai. I need a waterproof head unit and speakers.
Stock alternator is 50 but I will be upgrading to at least 150 amps (not sure what he meant for brand).
I am thinking 6.5 in the front doors and 6x9s in fabricated boxes mounted to the roll age that's on the todo list"

Anybody on this forum have any suggestions ? I was also told since he's gonna have the top down whatever sub setup he puts in the trunk he should have the port downfiring.

Just trying to get some suggestions and feedback on what some knowledgable users recommened or if they've had a simliar car what has worked for them.

The logistics of the car is what has me absolutely confused. When I did my Honda is was pretty straight forward (buy a Singer Alternator + AGM battery, amplified 6.5s in the front/back, ported custom enclosure in the trunk).

With this car i'm not sure with technically no car speaker mounts in the back, the logistics of playing with the top down, how to mount the subs/firing direction, type of headunit or whats compatable.
