Audio Q or RD Audio? Help Please!!!

I just purchased 2 RD1750.1, and felt a little pressured into purchasing them. I'm now looking at the specs and see they are rated @ 1750 Rms, but daisy chained linked they are reated @ 2900 RMS, WTF, sounds a little reird to me. + I've heard that they are just a sundown 1500 watt amp in a RD package, need some help please!! I'm now looking at the AQ 2200 and they are rated @ 4400 RMS daisy chained, which sounds more like "right". Can someone who has owned either one of these name brands offer any suggestions as to which brand makes a better amp. I also notice the AQ comes with a clipping mechanism and lcd screen to let you know when the amp is sending a clipped signal. I spoke to DJ of AQ and he says hands down AQ makes a great amp, but RD is not bad either.

I agree with what DJ says as far as RD meh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I would of went with Atomic before RD. AQ has solid products.

Not having ever owned an RD amp, I liked my SAZ1500 more than my AQ2200. Not sure how relevant that is, but,

Same here, I like my Sundown SAZ3000D more than my 2 AQ 2200's..

i have a rd 1750 and it isnt that bad. if you all ready got the rd's then just use them. there a fairly decent amp.

The RD if I remember correctly is rated at .875 for full power, and at 1 ohm it is 1500. the SAZ 1500d puts out 1500+ at 1 ohm and more at .875 . As for the AQ they are simply a slightly larger amp. I believe they are a zenon based, but my belief is that the SAZ1500d is the more rock solid of all of them.

As for the going with Atomic before RD and comparing to AQ and Sundown, it is simply a matter of longevity, it is the small details within the amps, otherwise they are all basically the same. they are all great amps, and will do their job, the Sundowns will stand the test of time. Contact Chris at dB-r for a comp. Actually I think there is a thread that delt with this already, where DJ, Jacob and Chris all piped in. You may what to look it up. It was in the last 2 weeks if I remember correctly.

The RD is basically the same as Sundown with small differences in the internal parts. What do you base your on?

RD 3750s and Sundown 3000 same amp, few differences but not many

Correction, the 3250.1 is the one that has similar boards as the SAZ-300D

RD is a good amplifier, dont let anyone tell you otherwise. They're Zenon based boards, and if you do care to look into it a tad more they are considered regarded(Zenon boards, that is).

Anyways, Sundown vs RD. There are a few diff, some say Sundown makes more power, others RD, it's a tossup. Both are very great amplifiers.

The AQ amplifiers I have no personal experience with, but from talking to a few vets you get what you pay for, and we shall leave it at that. They're solid little amps by all means, however.

Anyways, if you have the RD's use them. They are good amps. They will last as long as you dont clip the shit out of them - they will take some abuse.

Honestly, changing from the 1750.1's to AQ2200D's, you will not hear nor probably on a mic see a difference in sound. you're talking what, 800w rms, claimed? I wouldnt worry about it unless you're hell bound and determined to get the AQ's and can your moneys worth out of the RD.

I've been running RD for months. I love it. Tons of people dont. JL vs Kicker who do you like? Comes down to who's dick is bigger, who's cheaper and how much shit people have talked. It should, for the most part, be disregarded. It's the product that matters.

RD has build quality over AQ, small differences but longevity will be the difference.

As for Customer Service, Jacob is by far has set the bar, but I have delt with RD on a few occasions and never had any issues of any kind, they were responsive, and informative. I don't perosnally have experiance with their AQ's customer service.

Thanks guys, this is by far the most responsive, detailed, and opinnionated forum I've joined. I appreciate all of your comment's and quick rebuttle's; I will definately take them into consideration.
