Audio Innovations Hummer Build

It would be easy to find the freq of that truck. Measure from the base of the windshield to the farthest back point inside the cab. Convert to feet and then divide that into 1130 (speed of sound in air). If too high, divide by 4 to find the quarter wave.

Ex. 105"/ 12" = 8.75ft. 1130/8.75 = 129.14 Hz. Since thats too high of a note divide by 4. 129.14Hz/4 = 32.28Hz.

Thats sweet, so would this be a fairly accurate way of finding the freq in most walled vehicles?

Sure would.
Matter of fact those numbers are for a car Im working on right now.
surprised you didnt know this already
Me too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I guess I could have figured it would be pretty simple with basic math but I never thought you could get as accurate of a measure.

Sweetness //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Time to go grab my tape //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
