all in all though...I mean this setup gives me a headache on certain songs and hurts somewhat on my ears...even after months of listening to it, and it sounds great on music, so I'm really not disappointed about the score or anything

yea ive never did any score besides the headrest:crazy: i think the car would do over a 146 in the kick and prolly 143 or so score at the dash but at like 34 or so hz sealed up it peaks LOW lol.

i know a crx with 2 10s that can do 158

its not like anybody can just throw a pair of 10's in a rex and pop a 58.how many rexs in the world are doing that?

We have a couple Rex's on our team. Amy and Justin 155+ 2 Atomic 12's and 2 Atomic 7ks, and SPLinc 156-157+ with 4 12's and lotsa powa! These individuals will tell ya that it ain't easy to get these numbers.

i know that the team has money to throw at there setups. im just saying 4 15s in a rex is a little much.

this is my own opinion. 4 15s would be a "wow" factor for sure though

I notice with my maxima it peaked low(like 38hz i think) and i figure all i had to do is build another box tuned higher and that didnt work.i made a box tuned in 52hz and that didnt help my score at all..it actually drop my score..so i went back to a box that tuned to 34hz and my score went up .4 dB to a 145.6(TL) also at this time i have 2 hdc3 12's and 2 hk401sx's with only 2 batteries and a 200amp alternator..with more batteries i think i would have broke the 146dB mark easily

^Yea, I probably wouldnt go much above 39-40Hz on this next port setup....I think it'll be around there and see if I get an increase

tuning in the 50's is waaaaayyy to high. LOL stay in the low to mid 40's for most sedans.

The more I seal the trunk and shrink the cabin the lower I seem to peak. Haven't had a TL to play with yet but come FEB. I will!

Great Job Pioneer! I bet that 18 is hell on the brain at 35hz.!
