Sit in a vehicle that is burping at 155dB and playing 150's on music..He had 1 set of Kicker SS components with about 300 watts per side..And it kept up...I was VERY surprised..

I'm running 2 poly's per side with the Vifa xt25 tweets and it sounds amazing and gets VERY loud when I want it to. Keeps up with 2 ported 15" RL-P's with no problem. The mids/tweets stay VERY clean/detailed at loud volumes and has such a full sound to it. I say that's one viable solution unless you're just looking for something that's insanely loud, but sounds like a$$.

Obviously I don't have THE loudest set up out there, but it's about as loud as you can actually tolerate for long stretches at a time, other then the ringing in your ears when your done.

I would also get some loud rear fill since I'm "assuming" that the utmost of SQ isn't a concern.

Anyway, a setup designed to just get loud, to me, is a waste of money. Turning the dial to 11 will eventually lose it's appeal, and you lose your hearing, then what are you left with? A setup that gets loud, sounds shitty, and no longer impresses you.

I agree as the "super loud" novelty will wear off and then you're left with a system that isn't enjoyable to just listen to. Make it loud, but make it sound GOOD doing it as that will impress YOU the most.

i have 4 eminence in my car right now on a 300/2...i love the way it sounds. 90% of you guys on here would hate it, but i like it, and im sure people like galacticmonkey, and the other ghetto florida boys would like it lol
