Yea, I love my food and my girlfriend really can't eat big meals (just fills up easily i guess, nothing too bad lol). And we still go through mad grocery's weekly. Like at least $500 the first few months. You really have to "stretch" your meals. Pasta's great for this unless you're a veggie fanatic. I usually boil up some pasta throw some sausage in that shit, put some shredded cheese/spaghetti sause on that shit and throw it in the oven. Delicious, costs maybe $8-10 and lasts at least 8 meals or so with 2 box's. Grocery's hurt my pockets the most. And paying $700 for a new sleeper sofa. Yard sales are seriously the shit, I found a nice should be expensive chest to throw my stereo on. Nice $5 coffee tables, tv stands, end tables, the works. Nothing wrong with saving and paying 10% of what something should cost. This is true. Im gonna be all up in that bish. And nah, im pulling a retarded move and going in the spring and i know finding appts is really gonna ****. I am not trying to be a freakin 21 year old freshman. lol.
Grocery and other random expenses do scare me though. I have no idea what truly living on your own costs. I mean I pay for all my shit now. And that's expensive enough. But not having your parents as a safety blanket every once in a while is gonna definitely different. I mean I didn't have them at my last college. But then, I didn't have any bills at all to worry about.
