ATN: People that go to the gym...

Ehh, I hate the gym for a variety of reasons myself.

1. The asshats that act like they are tough shit and really are. They piss me the hell off because they think they are better than you and will cut in front of you to use a bench or rack. 2. The douchebags who orgasmically yell and scream as they are lifting. When I get down to the free weights, all I hear is "OOOOOOO", "YEAAAHHHHH", "COMON, ONE MORE TIME"...so ****ing annoying when you've got 150+ pounds above your face.

3. Lastly, I appear more built than I really am because Im quite stout. Im not saying I look like Im a body builder, but how much I can actually lift is quite pathetic. This one comes up and starts to squat 315 for 6+ reps while my cousin is standing there locked out in the middle of a deadlift set with his jaw hanging. I couldnt stop laughing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

 
i got one dude in my gym at school who we call big black...huge black dude comes in running...throws his shit down...grunts...usually starts off doing pull ups yelling and shit...stupid as hell but whatever works i guess

That's the worst feeling in the world. Its one thing to struggle with the weight they already have set of the bar but to actually have to lower it down a couple notches...it kills me on the inside.

And WHO in the hell finds the chicks atractive anyways. I don't want a buff, ripped chick that can out max me.

After a few years, and if your unfortunate enough to get injured a few times you'll realize real quick to leave your ego at the door. Ive learned its the ones that can continue training and gaining on a slow, yet steady pace without getting injured that will get far.

Ive seen them come & go, and am even sidelined myself atm. Ive learned the hard way, your joints can only take so much abuse (Might I add, I was being careful) before they starte biting back.

Also your posture can easily get thrown off, so for anyone that goes to the gym id honestly suggest going to a chiropractor to make sure you're posture is in check atleast once every 30 days.

Though its crazy in a way, those hardcore chicks that can do that have put in many years of time to get to that point. Within reason ofcourse a little muscle on a chick I personally dont mind (nothing beyond some of those fitness chicks), but not to the extent of them looking like a man and bigger then most of the guys in the gym //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif then id say thats a bit odd.

 
i HATE it when people do curls in the squat racks.."frat curls", thats what we call it. it's all the frat boys who are too lazy to bend all the way down to the floor to pick up the curl bar.

don't forget the dicks who never rack their weights when they're done, or the kids who sit in a group takin up the flat benches just talking.

Shit I forgot to mention that, he NEVER racks the weights when he's done..just leaves em on.

Once in a while I'll forget to do it, but he does it on everything.

 
Need to bump this for tonight's events at the gym.

Me and my buddy go to the gym tonight, get there at 9pm, they're open till 11.

We're doing legs and lower back tonight, start off with squats.

We're stretching, usually stretch out for about 5 minutes, when this cockbag struts in. Great.

So, we finish up really quick, and jump on the squat rack before he does. He walks over, looks at us for a good 30 seconds, then asks me how many sets we have left. I tell him we each have 2 sets left. He asks if he can jump in with us. We regretfully say yes.

You know how the squat rack has guide bars on the side, so you can drop the bar down safely if you can't get it up? Well, my friend drops pretty much *** to ankles on squats, and is very short (he's 5'6", I'm 6'1"), so he has the bars pretty low. I don't even bother to move them as it's just too much of a hassle.

So, I do my 2nd to last set, and this cockstain jumps in and starts telling me how I need to move the bars up because if I can't do it and need to drop it it'll be too low (which it really won't). I proceed to tell him it's fine, and I've done more then this weight before, and have no problem banging out this set at this weight. He rolls his eyes at me.

I swear I was ready to slap that fat mess.

We watched him the rest of the night. He was there for at least 1 hour and 45 minutes (that's how long we were there for, he was still working out when we left). We did 7 different exercises, he did 3- squats, leg press, and calf raises- in almost 2 hours...3 exercises.

they got guys like that here who take forever on the machines. i counted one guy did atleast 60 reps on the torso rotation. they spend nearly a 45 minutes to an hour on 1 machine, then they just sit their ***** on the machine and do nothing.

 
and then i decided to play some basketball and the brats just got out of school and took over the court. the worst part is, the 12 year olds were shooting better 3's then me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

 
It's not even like he does a lot of reps though...he spends a good 90% of the time being useless and taking up space. The other 10% he actually lifts something.
i just don't understand why people need to be on a machine so long. at most you should only be doing 20 reps and move on. i usually do 1 set upper, lower, middle and the repeat. never spend really more then 2-3 minutes on a machine
