Supplements?

Work out 5-6 days a week.

Take a multivitamin every day, and a protein shake w/skim milk and usually a banana pre/post workout.

EDIT:

I either use ON protein power (bought from a1supplements.com), or Vitamin Shoppe's strawberry powder (tastes pretty **** good)

ive been working out for four years and im 17. Muscle milk at night did wonders. I personally would take a amino acid like twin labs mass product. Ive hit a peak and started to take off cycle a testosterone pill which is allowing me to see results in this first week i have taken them. If your not sore after you work out then you acomplished nothing. Also take a basic protien shake with a piece of meat after workouts whenever possible, those first 30 minutes after you work out are the most critical to get nutrients to your muscles.

dude i was right where you are right now (+ a couple inchces and about 15 pounds) i started going to the gym w/o anything it worked (i gained muscle and stayed the same weight, lost about 15 pound but im staying right @ 200) but now im taking a multi-vitiman from GNC "Mega Man Sport: i seggest going there they knew what they were talking about............but since you are a bigger guy u will see muscle results pretty fast, but just keep going dude

Hey, I'm seventeen (your age) and have been working out and doing body building every since I was a small kid. I now have a full ride, going to play football for the Red Raiders.

I understand you are trying to get big, exactly like I was doing. Do you play any sports if so what position, maby I could help you out. At our age all we think about is Supplements. Don't get me wrong, there's some out there that actually help out. The best I've found is some good creatine. Supplements will help, but to benefit from working out, your best bet and the most overlooked thing is eating. If your not eating right or enough, then where is your mass going to come from? This is the most overlooked thing us teenagers look at. Make sure you start eating more, find some good creatine, and get propper amount of healing time while working out. Healing and building is two differn't sections while working out. If your realy looking for a hard-core supplement do some research on Anti-Estrogen.

Anyone here work out 3-5 days a week and take supplements?
Mind sharing information... I'm looking for supplement information. I'm 16, 5'11" 200lbs... I'm pretty big. I want to turn my fat into muscle, and I don't want to lose weight.

What are your thoughts on (and where do you purchase yours): creatine, protein powder, glutamine..
The first thing you need to be worried about is nutrition...you can work-out all you want and take all the supplements you want, but without proper nutrition you aren't going to see any major gains.

I take a daily multi-vitamin and use optimum nutrition's whey protein powder and it is teh goods:yumyum: and ground Flaxseed

I don't play any sports. I'm sure people will flame me here... but I rather post this up on a forum with a few people who know their shit than a body building forum where I look like an asshat for being a noob.

I'm not healthy at all. I eat fast food every day due to a stressful life always running around. I barely have any free time, although I have been able to come up with 2 hours to dedicate in the gym/free time per day.

I used to go to the gym and do cardio and some weights... but I never saw results. I'm an idiot though... I didn't do any reading, and I probably gained some muscle and weighed the same... but because I didn't lose weight, I gave up. I get tired quick. I'm pretty big, and not active at all. I want to jump into this full force, I'll do whatever is necessary.

I'd like to order everything online, because it's convenient... but I'm not sure what I should get. I go to school from 7 AM to 2 PM usually...and my eating habits are bad. I usually don't eat breakfast, eat a little snack at school and eat a few BIG meals after 2 PM. I think that if I take supplements, they will motivate me to get into the hang of things, and results will be my biggest motivator.

I have a gym membership to LA Fitness, which is a huge local gym... they have a ton of different machines.

Also, my buddy wanted me to ask, since he's doing this with me... he weighs 130 lbs, and wants to bulk up. Any recommended products for him?

You need to completely change your whole diet.

I posted my daily routine on another forum, here it is:

9AM: Breakfast- either 2 scrambled eggs on whole wheat muffin with 2 slices fat free american cheese, or a bowl of Kashi GoLean Crunch with 1 sliced banana, or 3 Kashi GoLean whole wheat waffles with sugar free syrup

12PM: Lunch- fat free american with low sodium turkey on a whole wheat pita, or a can of tuna with a tablespoon of fat free mayo on toasted whole wheat

2-3PM: Snack- bowl of fat free vanilla yogurt, an apple or a banana

5-6PM- Dinner- home made chicken soup, a baked chicken w/o the skin, london broil, steak, usually served with corn, carrots, broccoli, potato's, sometimes whole wheat pasta with home made tomato sauce

10PM- Snack- usually natural peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat bread, or a half-tuna sandwich.

I also go the the gym 5 days a week, and follow that with high intensity interval training (HIIT) 4 times a week, which is done directly after my workouts. The HIIT sessions last only 20-25 minutes on a treadmill, and consists of 5 minutes warmup, followed by 1 minute full-speed sprint intervals for 15 minutes, and a cool-down 5 minute walk.

Well here's my problem, which is crazy considering I can't be the only one in the world with a busy schedule.

I wake up at 6:30... I rush to get ready for school, I'm out the door by 7. I don't eat breakfast because I don't have 5+ minutes to cook+ eating time, etc

At school, I have a set lunch time, some days 11AM, some 12PM... 30 minutes to eat, no access to fridge/microwave
