in high school a bunch of us wore "straight pride" shirts to school on gay pride day and we got in tons of trouble, had to leave school and got put on the news and made into a huge deal... why can they have gay pride but we can't have straight pride?

You got into trouble and were made a huge deal of because you were publicly displaying hate. If you wore the shirts on a different day, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. Yes, all of your teachers would still hate you because you're ignorant fucks, but that can't be helped. Honestly.. if they can have Gay Pride then we can have Straight Pride. Like wtf, they are only doing what is being done to them, they are discriminating. Instead of saying we are all equal they are separating us. Honestly I think it's worse that they get mad at us for saying Straight Pride... they have a stick up their butts about all of this.....(honestly..no pun intended).

I think people can do whatever they want. I really don't care, whatever floats their boats...HOWEVER the only time I ever "discriminate" against gays is when they try hitting on me...I tell them I am straight and not interested and they still keep doing it. Then that is a different situation in which they need to quit it and leave us alone. They can do what they want with eachother if both of them want it, however...I, like other people, don't want to participate in said "activities".

I just think that day is dumb to have because all it is gonna do is draw more hateful attention to the gays. Shot just like the shirts warn at school. At my old school we even had a gay/bi club that got made fun of alot of time and just made there day worse. They need to find other ways since no matter what most straight people will hate them.
