I didn't say a person didn't have a right to speak the way they wanted don't get confused. He talked a certain way he became gay does that mean a person has to talk with a lisp like they developed a slur from a stroke. Or like a preppy girl from the movie clueless no he changed his speech. Not his voice speech is a pattern learned not something that was always there.Like my girl just started saying really all the time it drives me nuts. Just because your gay doesn't mean you have to speak different.I will tell you I dress and act the way I want if I was ridiculed and mocked by the way I dressed or the way I spoke I could always change it. If I didn't change it then it's my fault if I am ridiculed. Let me tell you, people make fun and insult people for any way a person dresses or acts but that person has the right to dress or act the way they want.

I don't even know what we're arguing about anymore. Maybe his friend changed the way he talked because he was around gay people, and he decided to imitate them. Maybe he started speaking differently because that was more comfortable for him. Maybe he changed the way he talked because the way he talked before wasn't sincere. I don't want to argue this anymore. Gay children may learn their speech from their mother, but understand how men are "supposed to act" by their father. I know gay people who talked differently in high school because they didn't want to be made fun of. I know gay people who talk differently when in the presence of heteros.
