lol..

they are wired in phase. Thats how you're supposed to do it. One side in opposite phase would be similar to a push/pull isobaric sealed box and thats not what this is. This is a 4th order bandpass.

completely finished the way i want it will probably end of march. I will go to SBN with it partialy done but still able to play on its own power.

Yeah like I said, I'm sure it'll work out ok, but just as a design aspect I would rather the woofers be firing the air outwards as in a V-shaped enclosure than just into one another, pressurizing the chamber, and then outwards.
yah but what do u know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif stop making sense

have you tried wiring one side of 4 in opposite phase? you should! just try it for kicks. when i did with my 8 12s in my 4th order bandpass, just like yours it got 10 times louder. so technically since it worked for mine it should work for yours!.

i'm making a statement! it was significantly louder!!! never metered it tho. but it is still something i believe travis should at LEAST TRY! just turn the phase on one amp to 180 and leave the other at 0.

my **** was shaking the hell outta the garage before. but after i switched my phases it was crazy loud. and my 8 12s were in a crx! i'm tempted to rebuild that box now with some custom built punch hx2 subs with killer suspensions and feed all 8 12s my soundigital SD16KD

I don't need to try it. I've done it before with my 6 12s. Didn't sound right. Only way a setup like that works is "ISOBARIC". It may have sounded good for you but yours was not a 4th order bandpass. Essentialy if I was to do that with mine I would be throwing the air back and forth like tossing a ball from hand to hand.

my design was every bit of what yours is. and if you dont try it you could be missing out on some serious volume! it worked on mine, cant see why it wouldnt work for yours!

Tom (nismofreak) is the only person that heard mine, and he thought it was rediculous.
