**Ascendant Audio wall**

my design was every bit of what yours is. and if you dont try it you could be missing out on some serious volume! it worked on mine, cant see why it wouldnt work for yours!
Tom (nismofreak) is the only person that heard mine, and he thought it was rediculous.

I dont see no front tuned port walls, I just see 2 sealed boxes facing eachother. Like I said man, I've tried it before with my other bandpass. Didnt sound worth a ****. I would think lots of people with similar setups to mine almost identical in design would've tried it and still be doing it if it worked with these setups.

Tom also told me my previous setup was the loudest he's heard on music. So I take everything said with a grain of salt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Personally, I don't see how wiring one side out of phase would work in the slightest. While one side is moving out, the other side is moving in, effectively cancelling each other out. Both sides share the same airspace (the ported chamber), so both need to move in the same direction.

Doing what you suggested would be like wiring one sub out of phase in the setup you have now. Everything would cancel out and there would be zero output.

Somehow something must have been weird or done wrong in order for you to have any output with one side wired out of phase.

I think he might have had it out of phase to begin with. Then when he changed it, it was right (and louder, lol).

If I drive my truck backwards down the street, if I look forward, it goes even faster:wow://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif:laugh:SAME LOGIC. In his mind, obviously, he does not ever make an install mistake, he only achieves the impossible, by doing the most simple change imaginable.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Oh well, some car audio installers do not know that the red wire does NOT go to the black wire:laugh:
