So shawn, how do you play into this? Ive only heard your name mentioned a couple times here on the forums and never really knew much about what you do in the audio commuinity.

He sent me three long-*** e-mails when I was asking for some general guidance that had to do with 12" SSD's and it helped me tremendously in my decision. Scott as well!

1. Actually the way a buildhouse works the owner of the company works with the engineers at the buildhouse to get the product they want. And no Dan has never done shit except for the non-existant/non-working Parthenon. Scott (RE) and Eminence did all of Dan's work for him. He just owns the patent to XBL^2 which he ripped off of other designs.

Do you really believe this drivel?

1. The build house buids what the speaker manufacturer asks for. Sometimes they offer engineering services, but I know for a fact that Dan designed all his speakers.

2. Just because you have never seen the Parthenon, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There are pictures and videos on the web proving it does exist, in working order.

3. You really should talk to Scott, or the engineers at Eminence before making such claims.

4. If XBL^2 was a rip-off of other technologies, then a patent wouldn't have been given. The patent office does extensive research on each technology applying for a patent to be sure it is an original idea. That's the reason why it took so long to get approved. This fact shows how fabricated your above claims are.

All i can say is AA + Fi is going to be good subs.

Im realy hopping the prices of the AA8inch is not going to go up.

We have to wait and see.

BTW , imagine a FIQ 8inch for $50 around 350Rms. i would love that.

Down the drain, just like XBL2 has. Seems like not to long ago XBL was teh hot shit motor tech, and everyone wanted to use it. Now everyone is trying to get away from it and its bull royalties.

Im a lil confused tho. Did Scott build for Ascendant all along and they just ditched the xbl or is chad going back to Scott for builds?

Just ALOT louder all around in the same box. The HaVocs also don't have the low end bias that the Avalanches had and have a MUCH stronger upper end. I wonder what the first production HaVoc 18s will be like. Mine have a double stack slug, the new ones have triple. Should be quite interesting.

Well, they will play louder than the Avalanches in every aspect. The low end is even more unbearable with the HaVocs , but the higher frequencies get alot louder than the Avalanches did at the higher notes. Louder in every aspect.

I work for Scott, doing tech and R and D work. As far as in the audio community, I have built a bunch of big bassracers as well as a quite a few sq and show cars, and have also competed in db drag racing, iasca, slap, and usaci since 1999. Ok my ? is who built the 2nd gen woofs? I could have sworn that it was TC, but Im not sure.
