How to find output of an amp?

I am trying to find out how much my amps are putting out now and see if i have any more power left over. I have a clamp meter, DMM, and an oscilliscope, I just do not know how i would go about finding the power I have read different formulas. Also if someone could tell me how to use the o-scope that would be nice too, I understand that the probe is used for testing but what is the clip hanging off the probe? . It is a Velleman from parts express and the directions were very vague. I know this is a noob question but I am still a noob in this area, so please just useful replies.
