How much Cms changes is really a matter of what materials were used in the driver, mainly the spider and how much phenolic resin is used. You can have two different traditional methods to get the same stiffness on a spider. One would be a cloth nearly the stiffness you desire with only a small amount of phenolic. The other would be a softer cloth with more phenolic. The first option would have much more long term stability. Foam surrounds do loosen up a little as well as rubber surrounds on the first initial stretch out of the mold, but not nearly as much as a spider. In general though you should never have a result where Cms should change more than about 10% with breakin.
