i throw it on the credit card instead of saving for it. but then i pay off the card just like i would put aside money and save for it. as long as you budget for paying it off in a timely fashion, its pretty much just like saving up for it.

I go to school in the middle-of-nowhere, Washington, and have snow 7 months out of the 9 months i drive my truck. I wanted a 4x4, and i wanted something big enough to drive friends around in.

And i wouldnt consider my payment a debt. i could pay it off right now if i wanted to, but the payment at the moment is a convenience.
