I wouldn't expect much...it's prettty tough to do anything decent even DIY with $25.

If you're expecting any type of return on your money, on speakers like that, then you should be using them on a computer only. For home theater the dynamics are much more demanding.

i was gonna put them on my computer, cause thats where all my music is. I dont watch much TV really. So now that i dont have a car the only time i get to listen to my music is on my computer.

But would that be an upgrade from the speakers taht came with the computer? they are polk audio's and they are only like an 1inch.

I guess...although it won't be much to crank up if you want to listen to it loud.

I can think of a lot of better solutions if you want a good PC-based audio system, without spending too much money...maybe $100 or so.
