i need some loud door speakers, i want to be able to hear words over my bass, turning the bass down defeats the purpose of having it, so what are my options not over 300$ ebay is fine i was looking at diamond hex, and some other different ones max mounting depth is 2.75 but i might could add maybe 1/4 inch spacer but it would be puching it any where over 100rms need them loud no crazy mods like 2 mids in each door or a 3way and i dont believe i have space for horns but i might

focal polyglass's and bostons get pretty loud, no VERY loud. much moreso than my rainbows.

the sixty's i think... i forgot, pm Lowlinc. he has the loudest frontstage ive ever heard. of course he did a really good job installing them.

the focals can only be had for like 270 ish

I think these are the ones that are supposed to get very loud and sound great doing it, but I'm not entirely certain.

the focals flakko was referring to were the 165v2's u can get the 165v1's for around 220ish shipped on ebay... higher end bostons can get loud but they're power hungry, from what i was told...

i like my ES-600s which are loud screamers. And for a tweet i'd suggest a Focal for them cause they very very clear at loud volumes just too harsh for me though.

the pro60's will get very loud indeed. 100 watts per side is enough to do them well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif my Z's get PLENTY loud, and have gobs of midbass to boot. the pro's will give you 80% of the performance of the Z's for less money, but when you start cranking it the Z's will walk away from the pro's like nothing else. however, if you only have 100 watts per channel, then the pro's might be a better choice. the Z's want a fair bit more power than that.

I have the sl60's and I am not overly satisfied with them, although I don't have my doors sealed. I will be getting a new vehicle soon and I am debating whether or not I should keep them or upgrade to the Pro's or possibly OZ Audio Matrix Elites. How satisfied are you with the Pro's and can you compare them to the sl60's? (BTW I am giving mine around 100 wrms)
