Are there any 15" 3000 rms subs?

are you running this amp off the stock electrical system? I heard those amps are some power hogs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

on a sub why would you need 20k hz for rms?...

oh yea go to hell
YOu don't, it's how "real" amps are rated. If you for example to your amp and looked at it's ratings, you might notice that the power they "say" it does is not at full bandwith less then 1% distortion. To make a long story short, it will do the power it says it puts out only when lightning strikes it. Real amps don't rate peak power aka us amps......There is nothing wrong with decent amps that aren't 1000$ but don't think for one minute that a 500$ amps does anything near the power or a 1000$ amp. So if an Us Amps AX1000 is 1000 watts RMS and costs 999.99 how in the hell is a 500$ amp from another company 2000 watts RMS?????? It's simple, the ax1000 does what it says it does, the other does not. Don't get fooled.

Do you have the XA3000D amp...? If so, then the guy above who said it's not a true 3,000 rms has no idea what he's talking about! That amp is not overrated...it's definitely Underrated!

And to answer you're question, the MT, APX, APXX, SS, T3 are just a few that will handle that power without any problems.

I have a new alternator not high output about 90 amp, 1 farad cap, 2 yellow tops

just to clear something up the guy i bought it from tested it and it was over 3000 at 1 ohm on a 16v system. I think my system is very close to 14v at idle so I am putting out something pretty close.......................

you sir, are an absolute idiot. i can name amp after amp that doesn't follow your outdated dollar per watt ratio that do insane power. any of the higher level Hifonics amps, Soundstream XXX6500D, Memphis 4KW, Incriminator Audio 20.1, MTX 1501D, JBL Crown A6000GTI, DD Z1, and these are just the ones off the top of my head. if you could pull your head out of your ***, quit living in 1992, and open your mind a little, you would realize that power is cheap nowadays. maybe you're a little butt hurt that you've been in the game longer than most and had to pay out the *** for power back in the day, but its no reason to rip on other people's equipment and butt into threads where you're obviously not needed

I'm trying to be talked into the top of the line DD. Do you think the Digital Design well handle it. From what I heard they really don't like replacing blown stuff(hard to get a warranty).
