can i hook my subs up to this amp??

ok so i got my system checked, come to find out my md22 is not puting out any output so i need to go to the shop that sold it to me, but in the mean time i want to know if i can hook up my dual 4 l5's to a 4 channel power acoustik g840-4 gothic series amp?

it is bridgeable and i believe my subs are running at 4 ohms....so it will be safe??? thats really all i want to know

but they amp and subs will be fine as long as you do not run the amp

at an ohm load lower then recomended

yes i'm in pensacola......i don't know the specs of the amp as it came with the car when i bought it, i have been looking for specs but i can't find any.....can anyone help me out?

from my past experience i wouldn't go the power acoustic amp route but yes you can run them off of that amp. Why not go for a mono amp that you can wire to 1ohm though?? just a suggestion.

because my sub amp needs to be sent off to be fixed, and i already have this amp in my possesion........i mean i could just go without my subs but i miss them already.....lawl

if this is someone at quality car stereo then yes i did get it from you, something happened and i need to have it sent it to get it worked on, i called friday and nobody picked up......

Um, worked all day friday. That's strange. Well, you should get the amp to me so i can either replace it for you or send it back for repair. Make sure you have your reciept with you when you bring it in. It takes some time to get them repaired so you should get it to me asap and more then likely i can get you a loaner amp until it returns. If you need one ofcourse.

yeah i still got the receipt, ummm yeah maybe i called the wrong number who knows, but who would i ask for when i come up there monday morning? and see this is why i like you better than outlawz, they keep dicking me around...will def not do business with them anymore...

now just to let you know, that i bought this amp back in june of 05, so that shouldn't be a problem there right?
