the old ones are not better than the new barics

but for $40 isn't bad though, all depneds on what kind of bass your looking for if you want to scare the nieghbors this won't do it

The old Solos sound better, but they're designed for sealed enclosures.
If you're looking for SQ, buy them. If you're looking for SPL, don't.

Agreed. The square ones are louder and that is about it.
