Are any of the new ones going to match up with the 9855 or are they just for dvds mainly. I havn't heard nothing about them anyone know?
Explain to me why a 2005 model would stay top when an entire lineup of new 2006 products has been released to replace them. No, 53/55 also stay top models in 2006.
Then new '06 line will definitely replace the 53/55. And rightly so since these new ones are superior to them. The 9861 also plays DVD-Audio which is a very nice feature.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I agree.Alpine's 2006 line up is the worst it has ever been, and this is coming from an Alpine fan. Find yourself a nice 9835 and call it a day.
x 1,000,000,000......Alpine's 2006 line up is the worst it has ever been, and this is coming from an Alpine fan.
CDA-9857 and CDA-9856, respectively.. Now, are these equivalent to the 2005 models? Hell no.. Sometimes newer isn't always better.. I'll admit they do have some cool features, but also some cool features have been taken away.. Alpine goes further down hill every year.. I don't know who's in charge of marketing/development over there, but I think it's time for a change since they are likely to lose loyal customers.. And this is coming from a VERY loyal (and somewhat happy) Alpine fanboi..Tell me which model replaced 53/55?
So you aren't counting the F1 decks such as the 7990??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifTop 3 Alpine HU's IMO: CDA-7998, CDA-9835, CDA-9855, in that order..
