Are Digital Designs subs worth the price??

With all the ID companies out today DD is still holding strong, and is once again on top in the lanes.. But my question is.. Are they worth it? I mean Musically and daily setups is what Im looking for with about 5 shows per year for competitions .. SO how does the DD 3500 line compare with others in its class

DC lvl 4

FI SSD

Sundown Z series

etc etc

and all the other 1k RMS subs out there.. Ive owned most of the good ID brands out there, but never a DD, and it is very tempting..

Ive heard that too.. Thats why Im looking at the 3500s opposed to the 9500s.. Some ppl say they are very musical, All depends on install and vehicle I guess

anyone know direct pricing on a 3500?

I like my 3518 on my saz-4500 will get a vid up in the next day or so it is hanging in there fine tuned at 33 hz my btl lasted a night on that amp.

its because it wasnt the steve meade edition, i like what i heard of his 3518 too. only DD product ive heard though

For SPL....but they do fine tuned low for daily....and they still get crazy low @ higher tuning!

The 3500's and 2500's sound Amazing! My fave subs so far...as far as high tuning bullshit don't listen to it....my 18's sounded like butter tuned @ 28hz! (They have a FS of 27hz btw)
