Are components worth it?

The way my car is set up there is no way I can mount the midbasses at the proper angle, but I will be able to mount the tweeters at the right angle for imaging. My front speakers (6.5 coaxials) are at the very bottom of the front doors right by my feet right now. they sound a lot better when I put my head down right by my center console as low as I can go. If I mount the tweeters higher, pointing in the right direction, will I notice a big difference in the sound? OR will I need the tweeters and midbasses at the right angle for a noticeable difference? Answer that if you can make any sense of it. Thanks

It is always best to keep the tweeters close to the driver. If you can not get kick panel pods and you have the drivers in the door, I suggest mounting the tweeters in the kick panels. Try to angle them towards you if you can. I did this im my buddy's Mustang and they sounded fine.

You only need to have the tweeters aimed towards the driver/passenger. Don't worry about the mid-bass drivers in the door. They are somewhat omni-directional. Yes I would definitely go with components.

Absolutely go with comp.s!! regaurdless of getting perfect imaging they will sound better than co ax. i have an isuzu trooper and my mids are in the stock location, under the dash in the kick panel and the tweets are in the corrners of my non-existent dash pointing at oppiset directions form there corrner. i played with mounting putting them down right next to the mids but i actully prefered the imaging from there current position better. so in short get comps and just play around with positions because when it comes down to ti its all up to YOU and what YOU like!
